My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page and helping raise money for Cancer Research UK.

On October 1st at 8.30pm, I will be taking my first steps of a marathon, all in aid of Cancer Research UK.  So many people I know have been affected by cancer and I am hoping that by walking 26.2 miles through the night I will be part of the thousands of people raising awareness and money for this fantastic charity.  I am 99.99% sure that this will be the only marathon I do, so please support me!  Not only will I have blisters galore, I will also be sleep deprived-but this of course is nothing compared to what those with cancer and their families have to face.
