My story
Hello!!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page :)
The only charity event that I have taken part in during my adult life was Race For Life..once, so I thought it was about time I did something else!
Fundraising money for Cancer Research UK is extremely important and personal to me. I shall do my hardest in raising as much cash as I can for this incredibly worthy cause. I can't do much without you clicking on my page so for that - a massive thank you ♥
I am going to take part in the half marathon walk which is 13.1 miles and should take inbetween 3.5 and 5 hours depending on how I get on! As most of you know, I do have a joint problem (Hypermobility Syndrome) where I have had a lot of pain mainly with my feet and knees over the last year or so. I am completely aware that this walk is going to be tough..but if it was a one hour walk in the park, you wouldn't sponsor me right?! ;) I am sure that the fantastic atmosphere and other walkers will spur me on until the end..when I will then collapse with a cup of tea until the foreseeable future!
